What is Ceramic Coating?

A ceramic coating is a long-term nano polymer liquid made of silicon dioxide (Si02) which, when cured, forms a hard glossy layer on top of your vehicle's paint. Essentially, it's carnauba wax's big brother. While waxing your car may last 2-4 weeks, a ceramic coating can have anywhere from 1 year to 10 years durability. It all depends on the coating and maintenance.

Here is a quick rundown of the 3 Ceramic Coating options that

we currently offer, all of which are hand-crafted by GTechniq: 

• EXO v5: Our entry level coating; great for those that just want

• to get their vehicle shining. 

• Crystal Serum Light: Our most popular coating, as it offers

• quite a few years of protection.

• CSL Black (CSL+EXO):  Reserved for those that want the most

• gloss and highest level of protection that a ceramic coating can offer. 

 

Please note that in order to achieve the full potential that your coating can offer, you must keep up with the maintenance of your vehicle. Here at BLV Detailing, we have made it very easy for your to do this, should you choose to do so yourself. Upon receiving your newly coated vehicle, we provide you with a Maintenance Sheet. This sheet provides you with important maintenance information, such as what to do, how often to do it, as well as which products to buy.
